Melbourne Cup Carnival - November 2008
"Congratulations on a Fantastic Day held in the International Lounge yesterday. The McDonalds group thoroughly enjoyed the event and the atmosphere. The great part for our group was that we were able to not only interact with our guests in the First Class environment but I was also able to conduct a number of successful business discussions with positive outcomes as people were so relaxed".
I know Darren Cowell attended with a group last year and he has been telling me all year that this was a "must attend" event and after yesterday, I think he was absolutely spot on!
On behalf of McDonalds, a big thankyou to your team for the day, you made the whole day's operations appear seamless! Not an easy task at all. Well done!
I know we all look forward to attending, hopefully with an expanded group again next year! "

"Thank you for the invitation to the Emirates Melbourne Cup Business Networking Gala Dinner in Singapore last night.
We had a wonderful time and co-incidentally we were seated at a table with friends from Sydney, which just goes to show how small the community here is. What a treat, we began by stepping out in our best suits to attend the event at Raffles and we soon settled into the fond memories brought on by the Australian wine, lamb and nostalgia watching the footage from past Cups.
We had a wonderful night, I now have an invitation to the Singapore Turf Club, to which I will take colleagues who are looking for hospitality opportunities. Thank you for keeping the connection alive.

The week started off with the superb dinner at the Beverley Hill Wilshire Hotel, then spent the rest of thew eek meeting with many of the people we had met on the night as well as visiting racing clubs, trainers and businesses in Los Angeles.
Mitty's is now in negotiations with an American company to market and distribute our products throughout the States. I'm very confident within the next month we will be exporting to the States, as I'm sure you can imagine the potential is enormous.
